Anointing
|
The Sacrament of Anointing or Unction is available to all on request.
Anointing and the laying on of hands for the sick also takes place at Services of Healing throughout the year. The Church's belief is that by prayer, the laying on of hands and anointing a sick person may be helped to healing, both spiritually and physically. However, we also believe that this forms part of a holistic approach
to mind, body and soul which includes proper medical treatment and is not a substitute for it.
